Feb 2009 Aston Hall in Birmingham is currently being restored and Fountainhead has just completed the design and installation works to a large new water garden at the historic site. HTLA Consultants are the landscape architects responsible for the landscape design of the overall project. The hall and gardens should be open to the public later this year.
Chelsea, London
Feb 2009 A vortex water feature is being designed and installed by Fountainhead in a prestigious development in Chelsea, London. The water feature has a central core vortex with 2 concentric swirling channels. The core vortex will be viewed from above and from the swimming pool below through a glass base.
Waterwalls at Daniel Galvin Salon, Mayfair, London
Dec 2008 The two huge stainless steel waterwalls we installed at the central London salon of famous hairdresser Daniel Galvin is still admired and features regularly on TV as the backdrop for various programmes – most recently on Gok Wan’s Channel 4 ‘How to Look Good Naked‘ show.
Marble Arch, London
Dec 2008 Fountainhead is submitting a design for the proposed Olympic fountain at Marble Arch, London. The design comprises hundreds of fountain basins each with an aerated vertical fountain jet – each to represent the greatest names in British Olympic history. Each fountain jet will be lit up from within to look like hundreds of Olympic torches. The basins are to be mounted on a tree-like structure of curved stainless steel branches to give height and form and to complement the surrounding trees of Hyde Park.
The Bishops Avenue, Hampstead, London
Dec 2008 Fountainhead have just completed a major installation of pools and waterfalls at a prestigious new site on The Bishops Avenue, London for national UK property developers Barratts. The design is a contemporary take on a traditional layout. Fountainhead collaborated on the design with international landscape design company Whitelaw Turkington.
Bangalore, India
Dec 2008 Fountainhead is currently working with a large Indian property developer on a new office/hotel in Bangalore. The Fountainhead design for the exterior of the building incorporates glass waterwalls into the criss-cross outer shell cladding of the building.
